Gift Acceptance Policy

The Land Trust Accreditation Commission and its staff and commissioners may not accept gifts of any kind from applicants for accreditation or accredited land trusts.  When on a site visit, commissioners may not attend social events (such as dinners or receptions) held by the land trust and may only have incidental expenses covered (such as coffee or lunch) provided that the total cost is under $50.00 per commission/per visit. The Commission will give advance notice of this policy to applicants receiving a site visit.
