The registration system allows land trusts to register for a specific application due date or "application round." This is a required first step in the accreditation application process. Land trusts ready to apply for accreditation can complete an online registration form and submit an electronic payment of a $750 nonrefundable, nontransferable registration fee. Land trusts considering registering are strongly encouraged to read the following documents before registering:

- Accreditation Fee Schedule: 2012 | 2013: TBD
- Mutliple Corporations and Accreditation Fact Sheet: Please read if your land trust has a related entity, such as a supporting organization or LLC
- Registration for 2012 applications is now full.
- 2012 Round 1 application date: April 5, 2012 (pre-application due January 12, 2012)
- 2012 Round 2 application date: September 13, 2012 (pre-application due June 21, 2012)
