We want your comments on the draft Application for Accreditation! The draft was released on October 6 and the deadline for comments is November 30 . Your comments will help us create a strong and effective accreditation program. Submitting comments via the online survey will enter you into a drawing for a free basic registration for the National Land Conservation Conference: Rally 2007 in Denver, CO. New Policies on Conflicts of Interest and Confidentiality
We know that managing conflicts of interest and ensuring the confidentiality of land trust information are important to you and are keys to running a credible accreditation program. The Commission will manage conflicts of interest to ensure that they are not a barrier to making objective, fair and consistent decisions and has adopted a detailed conflict of interest policy.
We will keep all data provided by applicants confidential. The Commission and the Land Trust Alliance recently adopted a joint confidentiality policy. Both policies are posted on the Commission's website at www.landtrustaccreditation.org.
