National Land Conservation Conference: Rally 2006 Nashville
We had the opportunity to meet many of you in Nashville last week at the Land Trust Alliance's National Land Conservation Conference: Rally 2006. Our Saturday morning workshop was standing room only. Thank you to everyone who submitted comments and asked questions. Your feedback is instrumental as we continue to develop and refine the accreditation program.
A special thanks to the Land Trust Alliance for putting together such an inspiring conference and providing the land trust community with an opportunity to share knowledge and stories.
Frequently Asked Questions
Many people asked thoughtful questions during our two workshops at Rally. We also talked to people who stopped by our exhibit booth to speak one-on-one with Commission members. We have added new FAQs to our website at http://www.lta.org/accreditation/faqs.htm as a result of our conversations at Rally.
Draft Application for Accreditation Released Save
The draft Application for Accreditation was made public on October 6 and the Commission wants your comments. Your feedback will help us create a strong and effective accreditation program. More information on the draft application and a link to the survey is available at http://www.lta.org/accreditation/apply.htm. (The survey is now closed.)
2007 Pilot Testing Program
We will formally test the complete accreditation process in 2007. Many organizations have contacted us wanting to know how they can be part of the pilot program. If you want to know more about the pilots or are interested in participating, visit http://www.lta.org/accreditation/pilot.htm. (The request to participate in the pilot program is now closed.)
Thank you again for your feedback. We look forward to hearing more from you in the coming weeks and months.
