Rally 2020 was filled with new experiences for all participants. Not only was it the first, all-virtual Rally but also, for many people, it was the first they attended. With nearly 3,800 attendees from 49 states and five countries, it was the largest Rally to-date!

The Commission was honored to be a part of the event. We kicked off Rally 2020 with a virtual awards ceremony to celebrate the latest class of newly accredited and renewed land trusts. It was a special evening with remarks by Commission Executive Director Melissa Kalvestrand and Commission Board Chair Bruce Runnels as well as a message of congratulations from Land Trust Alliance President and CEO Andrew Bowman. Over 200 attendees joined us to support their accredited colleagues and congratulate them on their success. We also debuted a new video that speaks to the value of accreditation. If you were unable to join us, you can view the ceremony by visiting here.

On the opening day of Rally, we held a workshop, "Tips and Tools for Tackling Accreditation Requirements and Documentation" (B01). The presentation, including the chat Q&A, are accessible on the Rally 2020 platform until January 31, 2021. If you are already registered for Rally, you can login and view all the workshops. If you did not register for Rally, you still can by visiting here.

Although Rally was a very different experience this year, there were so many ways to connect. The Commission hosted five mini Q&A sessions during the live event. We also presented information on a virtual exhibitor page, which is still accessible within the Rally 2020 platform. We want to thank the Land Trust Alliance for all of their hard work in making this event a dynamic and informative experience. We also want to thank everyone who was able to join us for the Commission events.
